@mcgregwood7
That medication makes it even worse.It worked for the first few months, but then i got serious side effects including horrible panic attacks, sleeplessness, throat burning, digestion problems, strong fatigue and even heart problems(strong and fast beatrate all the time).
I couldn’t figure out where all this comes from, doctors told me it’s a psychic problem, blah blah, when i stopped the medication(omeprazole), the “psychic” problem suddenly diassapeared. It was horrible.

@mcgregwood7 good advice for some, but moronic to assume it would work for everyone else that have structural abnormalities that diet, meds and weight cannot control.

acid reflux

WTF, everyone with Gerd (Acid Reflux) worries about this cancer but Gerd isn’t even a main risk factor. Approximately, less than 0.5% of non-smokers and normal drinkers who have chronic Gerd actually develops esophageal cancer. The esophageal cancer scare is part of the reason why Gerd medication is so expensive. Stop taking your Gerd medication, because it’s a waste of money. Just eat well, maintain a healthy weight and done drink much or smoke at all. I do all this, have Gerd and I feel fine.

I had acid reflux for 10 years, was a real nightmare and had a real effect on my quality of life. Last month I had a new procedure called the linx, that and with a changed diet I feel a new person. In my opinion this will become the standard procedure in a few years time. I was in hospital for an over night stay and was up and around easily within a week. Now a month on I am fully recovered with no reflux. If anyone in the UK wants to know about this procedure then drop me a message.

I had this surgery about a week ago and Im only 17! Im not over weight or anything it’s just that my family has a strong history of acid reflux and plus I had a hital hernia causing the reflux. They lie when they say it don’t hurt and plus I can’t eat any real food yet!!!!!!! T_T

i have acid reflux and i been on netxium for a month but helping some symptoms but not my real problem. Icant sleep at night i feel to much pressure in my stomach and sometimes my heart increases a bit and it sucks so much. i been for bloods tests, ECG’s, and i just went for x rays so i still have to review that with my doctor and i wonder if surgery is required for me? if medication is not really helping that much

OMG it’s just like sewing clothes! I have acid reflux and I took medicine to reduce the amount of acid my stomach produced because my LES was damaged and I had an ulcer. I can’t believe they can just go in their and touch anything they want without damaging it! COOL!

@sistagirl488deleted Sometimes. I sing and my voice is in really good shape so I don’t think the gerd effects it that much. It’s just always there
